February Events - Bring on the Love!

We've got a busy February planned with lots and lots of love -- oh what fun we'll have!

Thursday, February 4th

6th Annual Bubbly, Sweets & Shopping Event 5 - 7 PM

The Rock & Art Shop, 36 Central Street, Bangor Maine

Join us for an awesome shopping and chocolate tasting event - with artwork by the Bangor Art Society and live music by the Bangor Symphony Orchestra while you shop for Valentine's Day. A portion of all purchases will benefit the Bangor Symphony Orchestra and we'll be raffling off a Two-Month CHC Confection of the Month Club subscription to one lucky attendee -- let's have some fun, taste some chocolate and raise some money for our friends at BSO!

Blake and Eva show on WMGX Radio for SARSSM fundraiser, the 2016 Chocolate Lover's Fling

We've been invited by the staff of SARSSM to chat with Blake and Eva about the Fling and our business. They'll be sampling a few of our new Valentine's Day chocolates and we're pretty excited for our first official radio appearance. That said, it's all about the SARSSM fundraising, so we hope you'll buy a ticket and come see us in action. Seriously, bringing the A game!

Sustainable Chocolate
We are often asked if our chocolate is sourced from sustainable cacao farming operations and are happy to report that yes, our chocolate does come from sustainable sources. As we all have different definitions of 'sustainable' we suggest you read up on their operations should you have concerns or questions.

Callebaut Chocolate is one of our two chocolate suppliers and has quite a deal about its sustainable chocolate operations on its website. Should you have specific questions about their operations, they would be happy to answer any questions!

Valrhona Chocolate is our other chocolate supplier and also offers a great deal of information about its membership with the sustainability-focused Cacao Forest project, and how it works alongside producers, companies, researchers, consumers and NGOs to reinvent the way cocoa is grown.
